Our Double Glazed windows come as standard when you opt for a log cabin with wall thickness of 44mm upwards. These double glazed units unlike most others that are just “vacuum packed are argon filled - an inert gas designed to slow down any migration of cold air that penetrates through the glazing. This also means a slow down of loss of heart from inside outwards thus making it much more economic and cosy for you. An important additional standard feature for cabins that have wall thickness of 44mm and above are equipped with double glazed windows that have a “Tilt & Turn” facility making for a much more user friendly method to enable access for opening and closing and cleaning. This is because all Tilt & Turn windows open inwards, as opposed to the traditional double glazed windows that open outwards. Top quality security locks are also included. Craftmanship at its best for the pine frames culminates in a premium window that surpasses all relevant government safety tests before being put into the market place.
