2 Story Log Cabin

This is a two story log cabin part of our residential range at Beaver Log Cabins NI and we are sure that you will agree that it looks great!

First time buyers

log cabin Dundalk would be perfect for a young couple or expanding family. Getting on the property ladder can be really difficult so many people are choosing timber built homes rather than bricks and mortar. Timber houses are becoming more and more popular these days because there are less expensive than bricks and mortar and much quicker to build.

First Floor

The first floor has three rooms of different shapes and sizes. We have arranged the first floor as how we would set it up, with a large living room on the left, a decent size kitchen and bathroom to the right.

Second Floor

The second floor has two large rooms, the room to the right would make a great master bedroom and the room to the left would be a great double room  / kids room. 

Windows and Doors

There are windows and doors in this log cabin, all of which are double glazed. Note the size of the widows and the use of glass on the doors, this is to allow as much natural light into the log cabin as possible. The windows are tilt and turn which are easy to open and close and the locking systems of both the windows and the doors are to EU standard.

Customize

All of our products at Beaver Log Cabins NI can be customized to suit you the customers needs, for example, you may want more windows and move a window or door to another place in the log cabin.

Insulation

We give you the choice of how you would like your log cabin to be insulated, we will of course advise you. This log cabin is built using a 70mm log, which is fine for year round use. If you would like to further this log cabin that can be achieved via Twin Skin. (44mm external log – 100mm cavity with 80mm insulation – 44mm internal log)

The roof and the floor of the log cabin can also be further insulated to ensure that your log cabin remains warm whatever the weather.

We use Siberian Larch Timber on all of our products because it is strong, robust and it retains heat well.
