This bespoke log cabin is part of our residential range and I am sure that you will agree that this is a fantastic design. This log cabin is very traditional in design as it has an overhanging roof and porch area. The overhanging roof helps to give the log cabin that real log cabin look and feel. The porch area is also a great place to relax, read a book, have a barbecue etc.

This log cabin would make a great home for a fist time buyer or a home for an elderly relative – ‘Granny House’

Timber Granny Houses are becoming more and more popular these days, not only are they much cheaper than a concrete building there are much quicker to construct too.

Granny House – One bedroom

As you walk through the double doors of the log cabin you are greeted with a large spacious area, this would be the kitchen / living area. There are also two smaller rooms in the middle of the log cabin which could be used as a bathroom and storage area. The two room as the rear of the log cabin would then be the bedroom and study area.

Two bedroom Residential Home

Alternatively, this log cabin could be used as a two bedroom residential home. The two rooms at the rear of the log cabin could be a double room and single room. This log cabin would be perfect for a small family, as it is very difficult for young couples to get on the property ladder these days.

Windows and Doors

This log cabins contains 6 windows (1 double window) and a set of double doors all of which are double glazed. The windows are tilt and turn which offers an easy opening and closing action and the locking systems of both the windows and doors are to EU standard.

Customized

At Beaver Log Cabins NI, all of our log cabins can be customized to fit the customer’s needs. You may want to add more windows, move a window, add an extra door to the rear of the cabin or you may want to make the log cabin wheel chair accessible. We at Beaver Log Cabins NI will accommodate all requests!

Insulation

We at Beaver Log Cabins NI give you the customer the choice of how you would like your log cabin to be insulated, we will of course guide you. This log cabin is built using a 70mm log which is perfect for year round use, you also have the option of having the roof and the floor of the log cabin insulated to ensure that your log cabin is warm and cosy.

We use Siberian Larch Timber on all of our products because it is strong, robust and it has great heat retaining abilities. We will also guide you on how to preserve and maintain your log cabin to ensure that it lasts a life time.
