Bespoke Log Cabin

This bespoke log cabin Navan unique to us at Beaver Log Cabins NI. This log cabin is a very traditional design with a modern twist, that being the use of glass. Note not only the size of the windows but also the use of glass on the doors, this is to allow as much natural light into the log cabin as possible.

Overhanging Roof and Porch

One of the main features of this log cabin is the overhanging roof and porch. This area is the perfect place to relax, read a book or have lunch. The overhanging roof also helps to give the log cabin that real log cabin look and feel.

Two Bedroom Log Cabin

This log cabin offers a lot of space with many different sized rooms. We have arranged this log cabin to look like a two bedroom home. As you walked through the double doors of the log cabin you are greeted with a very generous space, this area would be the kitchen / living room area. To the left of there are two smaller size rooms, one of which could be the children’s bedroom and the other room the bathroom. The large room to the right of the log cabin would be the master bedroom.

This log cabin would make a perfect home for first time buyers who want to get on the property ladder.

Granny House

Alternatively, this log cabin would make the perfect home for an elderly family member. Granny houses are becoming more and more popular these days. Some families do not have enough room to house an elderly family member, therefore, they are building ‘granny houses’ in the garden or their own private land. These home are great as they provide peace of mind because you know that your elderly family member is near but at the same time they have their independence.

This timber log cabin is much cheaper than a concrete building and it is also much quicker to construct.

Windows and Doors

As we have stated before one of the main features of this log cabin is the use of glass. There are 6 windows in this log cabin, two of which are double windows and a set of double doors and a single door at the rear of the log cabin. All windows and doors are double glazed and the windows are tilt and turn and the locking system of both the windows and doors are to EU standard.

Customized

Insulation

We use Siberian Larch Timber on all of our products due to its heat retaining qualities, it is also strong and robust. This log cabin is built using a 70mm log which is great for year round use, you can also further insulate your log cabin via Twin Skin. For this type of build we would recommend a 40mm external log with a 100mm cavity 80mm insulation and a 44mm internal log.

The roof and the floor of the log cabin can also be insulated for further warmth and comfort.
